Teacher Appreciation Week

This is what our PTO did for Teacher Appreciation Week...
Monday - Give your teacher something that smells good.
Tuesday - Give your teacher a compliment.
Wednesday - Give your teacher something yummy.
Thursday - Give your teacher something to look at.
Friday - Give your teacher a high five or hug.
For Thursday I made these personalized photo albums. I figured the kids could put pictures or cards in them and the teachers would always have them.

Blue Foil Imprinted Baby Boy Gift Box and Tag

So I realized I really enjoy giving gifts..Well that is when I find the perfect gift for someone, and when I can wrap it up the way I want.
Here's not a perfect example. But I should give you some ideas of what to add hot foil to:

I took a plain orange box (purchased at a dollar store 2 for $1) I wanted to hot foil baby feet and "Oh Boy" on the box. The baby feet didn't work on this box so I made the tag to cover up my mistake. See my other card and tag making blog at http://cardmakingonthecheap.blogspot.com/ for more tag ideas.

Adding a bit of personalization to a simple box can really do the trick. Imagine a plain box with the recipients name imprinted with foil on the front, classy!

Oh and she loved it!

U R So Sweet Gift Box

I made this box for my neighbor who did the sweetest favor for me. So I made her a box of sweets!

But I really wanted to showcase my custom printed ribbon:
Small version...

Larger Version close up..

A little ribbon can turn a simple gift into a personalized treasure! (later I did find she kept this box - she said it was too cute to throw away!)

Wedding Scrapbook

A very personalized Wedding Gift.

This was just a plain white scrapbook (the picture is interchangeable) I just hot foiled the title "Together Forever" and then the names and date all in silver foil.
You know if you bought this book in a personalized shop it would cost a pretty penny. You'd be surprised what I charge for my scrapbooks!

Recipe Book & Gift "Basket"

Super Cute and Personalized Wedding Gift.
I bought a skillet with a glass lid and handles (one of my favorite pieces to use)

This is a photo album from my stash. I use these albums for recipes because recipe cards will easily slide into the plastic sleeves keeping them clean and easy to organize.

I hot foiled the bride and groom's last name and the word recipes on the front cover.

For a personal touch I also added their first names and wedding date.
Add this unique book inside the pot with extra recipe cards, seasoning, personalized note cards, and don't forget to add some of your favorite recipes inside their new book!
They will never forget this gift! Totally UNIQUE!
